Finally, after 3weeks!!
I have finally pinpointed a rattle/vibration that has drove me crazy for the past 3 weeks. My head light had a chrome visor on it when I bought the bike. I didn't think much about it until today. I was bumping stuff everywhere trying to repeat the sound and bumped the head light visor with my elbow. Wa la, it made the noise I kept hearing. I removed the darn thing and went for a spin around the block. Noise was gone. Those of you who have one on your bike, is there a way to mount it without causing a rattle? I liked the way it looked, but would certainly sacrifice it if won't stay quiet.

Put two or three spots of silicone on it and reinstall it the silicone will harden and take up the extra room and keep it from rattling.

I don't know how to remove the head light from the housing. I didn't see a easy way to unplug the light.

Yup - a few dabs of silicone will do it.

Mine was the "Show Chrome Visor". Only option was to silicone it to the headlight.

Mine has a bead of silicone running around the inside, it's nice and quiet.

I had to leave it hanging by the wires. I did not know how to disconnect it and move it over to my work bench. I will try to add some silicone and see if it will stay put. Thanks for the advice, never thought of doing the silicone thing.

That black plug pulls straight off pretty hard. You may wiggle it a little bit. if you happen to pull the bulb out of the reflector be sure to wear cotton CLEAN Gloves, as finger prints on that glass with first etch it and then break the glass when hot. Then you will be in the DARK LOL

There is a screw either side of the headlight, the visor should slide in from the back between the light and the housing, with the lip on the back of the visor holding it in place, cut narrow strip's of gaffer tape to pack it if it's lose, that's what i did anyway.
