Aftermarket Pipes and Highway Pegs
I have a 1999 Nomad 1500 with 40,000 miles which I love. I have debaffled the exhaust which makes the bike sound better but I am looking for a used set of aftermarket pipes. I'd be interested in used slip-on's as well.
For the highway pegs I was hoping that someone had a used set or even a used set of passenger pegs that I could use as highway pegs. I just can't afford a new set of either. I would appreciate any members help on this. Thank you. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Slip ons won't do you any good with stock pipes.

Scott is correct, you'll need a full header system to replace the exhaust since it crosses over through a cat.
As for the pegs, Gadget has a good write up on how to make some on the cheap. Great site for you to check out if you have not seen it yet. https://web.archive.org/web/20140829...cheap_pegs.htm
