adding vance&hines, hypercharger & power commander
I just lifted the back of the tank slightly - slid a chunk of 2 X 4 under the back and proceeded to unplug the damn thing. Dealer ( Stealer) had damaged the plugs so I made them give me a brand spankin new one which I sold to Someone here on the Forum for a steal! You may find that after removing the PCIII that the V & H mufflers start to drone or make a slight noise @ 3000 RPM? I hear it's a reverb as you are running leaner? I found that after I changed out the mufflers the thing runs much smoother and to me sounds SWEET!! But that is my point, everyone likes a different sound! If you want the loud sound I heard a 2007 Nomad with a set of older style Screaming Eagles that had a very deep rumble at idle and just plain rocked when he would roll on it. Too loud for my taste ( actually the passenger dictates sound levels) but still probably would be too loud for the long hauls!
