windshield question again

how about cee baileys cee devil which is I believe means recurve. has anyone tried this one or can add info about it. I was all set on buying the windvest until I seen a post where one has cracked in half and the rider actually lost half of it going down the road. which things happen but it tells me that quality might not be there

I had a Cee Bailey on my last bike but not a recurve. The reflection of the sun was to much on that windshield and I had to take it off.

I am running a 10" Windvest on my Vaquero and it works great. It deflects the wind with the recurve enough to force most of the wind over my head. My G/F, however, gets a facefull of wind because of this and now wears a fullface helmet.

I use a 13 inch slip streamer that I painted the bottom using the stock shield as a template. Blocks alot of wind, was only $60 on Amazon and has held up great. The wife loves it. She was not too happy with my tinted 10 inch shield, lots of wind in her ears.

It was when the sun hit the shield at a certain angle the glare would become to much. It was a tall windshield so the problem may not exist on a Vaquero.

Check out Clearview they make a great shield for the Vaquero and it already comes with the bottom section in black. I love mine and it's a recurve.

I have had mine for 3 years and no problems and enjoy the recurve. I would buy one again and highly recommend them.

Ok thanks, I was thinking it might be worse than normal with the material they use, maybe it let more light or something. thats one of the things I like about the VAQ is that Kawasaki started to black out a lot of things and I just finished it. don't care for glare

I wonder if she got more wind with the 10", or more with the stock shield.
the wind would come over the top miss you and dump in her lap! jus thinkin!
and with the short stocker it would be windy all the time, but your body would block most of it. maybe I trying to look at this shit to hard just order a DAMN wind shield already! skullbagger

She never rode the bike with the stock shield on. I did not have my Mustang seat back then and there was no way she would get on the bike to ride 2 up with the stock seat. I only had the stock shield for a week before that useless thing came off.

And yes just make up your mind and order the damn shield....lmao

well after battling around for months on which shield to get. my
klockwerks was delivered on fri. installed on sat, and rode today. rode just shy of 200 miles, not to shabby, I can hear the radio better and it does block a lot of the wind. and looks cool so for now I am happy. wind vest was my next choice. not a whole lot of options for this bike which sucks
