I have often thought of buying a second shield and installing a vent. My buddy uses these small round adjustable vents in his homebuilt aircraft. I may try them but haven't decided yet. Clearview Shields sells one with a "Goldwing" style vent also.

Hard to believe a vent makes a difference in a screen that short, unless you have a taller one than stock

I have the clearview with the built in vent and believe me in the hot summer it is nice to have that vent open to let the air blow onto the chest area, and when it is cool to give me that nice still air when it is closed.

IMO...I don't see any need for a vent.

I may look into this a little more before I go cutting my windshield just yet..The windshield on my voyager is taller than me so it would be nice to get some fresh air on those hot days..Still undecided. Thanks for the info

windshield

I as well as Smokey have a Clear View with a built in vent for my Voyager.

No regrets and it certainly helps in the heat of a Manitoba Summer; as short as it is.
