Idaho to Ohio and back
Ran home to Ohio to visit family and attend a HS class reunion. (46 years if you want to know) 1850 miles one way. The Nomad ran awesome the entire way with no problems, hic-ups or issues. First and last leg of my trip was to and from North Platte and Pocatello, 720 miles and I swear it was easy to do.
The trip home found temps in the low 40's when I left North Platte. Was tempted to stop but I really wanted to make it home and knew it would warm up as I went so I kept going. Finally started to thaw out when I got to Cheyenne Wyoming. Now the only thing I wish I had was heated grips. HA.

Sounds like a great time. I never have found 720 difficult to do.
Of course I take two days to do it. Glad to hear the Nomad ran great and you made it back home safe and sound.

Sounds like an awesome trip Bud.
You being a paper map guy, no GPS. I'm surprised you didn't make at least one circle back to the place you left before getting to the destination. No I am not going to forget the Tail of the Dragon

Yep. It runs nice. Tracks straight on grooved pavement. I still have a bad habit of dragging my pegs and floorboards in a turn.
