Question on tube and oil leak

Right side of my bike is tube at front under oil cooler near rear brake pedal. Can anyone tell me what that tube connects to as it seems that I have drips of oil coming from the tube?? Is it an over flow or just what. Kawasaki 1500 is the bike I am talking about. Thanks

Is it a small rubber hose pointing straight down?? If so it is a a drain from the water pump shaft. There are seals for oil where it enters the motor and and seals for coolant where it enters the water pump. The hose is to drain any fluid that weeps out of those seals. Is it oil you are seeing or antifreeze? My bike has had the odd antifreeze drip on the end of that hose but never drop in the floor. Usually after storage but it goes away. Been that way since new. If it is not what you are talking about, post a pick as others have mentioned

Leak From Hose

Thanks guys I think you nailed it bike had not been cranked in over a month or so and after it ran some noticed maybe a drop of oil from that hose could have been antifreeze was on card board I had under bike as I have been trying to find leak points if any are left. Changed to synthetic oil hence the few small leaks showed up. That one drop was it will hope to ride it next couple of days and see what happens maybe no more thanks again for info. Larry

I used to get a few drops from the pipe after the bike sat all winter then after a couple of rides it stopped.
