What's the difference?

Hello all,

So I'm looking for things like brake pads on overseas sites, I'm based in Melbourne. And I have a nagging thought, my hike is a Kawasaki nomad vn1500g 1998 released in Australia in 1998.

However I have noticed that only the 1999 model was released under the vn1500g1 and vn1500g1a models. So my question is what's the difference,did they change anything between models? Different brakes? Or the usual small upgrades they do between models.

The difference between the 98 and the 99 is that the 98 wasn't available here.

It's like a 64 1/2 Mustang, it's really a 65.
