My ride today…

It was a beautiful day here in South Dakota, so I took a little ride up to Sioux Falls (about 120 miles). Here are a couple of pictures of the awesome scenery that I am surrounded by.

Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to live in a very small town surrounded by nothing except farms. I can ride some of the back roads and not see another vehicle for 20 miles.
Hope you like the pictures.
Dennis

The first two pictures above are on highway 46 headed East towards Irene. The last one is on highway 18 headed west near Olivet.

It looks very nice, BUT do you have curves also or only straights ???

IMO, could be a bit boring running 120 mls just straight.

Looks good, however flat. The main thing is feeling the fresh air blowing across as you ride.

Very nice pics.

You, your bike and your thoughts, a road and no one around you.
You are very lucky, mate.
This is freedom!

I pulled up the Google maps satellite shot of Irene SD. Those are about the straightest roads and most square off sections of land I've ever seen. But I do bet it is beautiful country in that area. I love me some farm land,,,,, being as I was raised on some. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Thanks for sharing the pics . It looks a lot like the scenery I have here . I'm surrounded by farm land . Most of it is as flat as a pancake but when I got further south or west I get beautiful rolling hills and valley's . If I go north there are a lot of lakes and bush country . I have yet to see the mountains on my trusty nomad but someday I will .

Weather looks perfect and those roads... they're like glass! We don't get roads like that here in Australia.

Fresh air is great but I like an occasional hill, valley and curve
Not to sharp a curve as some people tend to go off the road

Yeah, a bike that's not top heavy and can take curves much better.
