What the f$#k is up with photobucket?

I looked at my old threads and none of the pictures came up, I went to photobucket and it said something about 3rd party hosting - This is part of it below. Does this mean without paying I can no longer post any of my pictures from photobucket?

Photobucket is about useless anymore.
After reading this I looked and post I made 5 years ago
still have the photo I linked to in Photobucket.
Not sure why mine are still there and yours aren't.
I certainly haven't paid them anything.

Photobucket is bloated with pop-up ads, and scripts running, etc.

I use picturetrail now.

Every thread from the last 10 years i have linked is dead. If they said from here on out i could see it but to just hold your links ransom is bull$hi+. Arghhhh!!!!

I just went back and looked, nothing I've posted with a picture linked from photobucket shows up.................... So what is another site that we can use to replace photobucket?

I have been using Google Drive for a CAD Support Forum that I have and it is working out very well. You can store documents and pictures up to a total of 15GB for free.

JD I have yet to figure out how to get a link to post a photo in a thread using google drive.

I started using Flickr. But it has it's issues sometimes.
There are times when it says a upload has timed out almost instantly.
With that said I have uploaded over 14,000 VBA pictures to it and only used about 1% of the available storage.
You can get a link to post in a thread. But the link comes with some extra stuff that I weed out.
All in all it works.

BudMan you can select the picture and then left click the shareable link icon on the right side or select the picture and right click on the picture and select the shareable link from the menu.

I had 2 signature pics. Just yesterday I noticed that one of my signature pics had been replaced by a photo bucket ad about upgrading to allow 3rd party hosting! In photo bucket my pics, including my original they kindly replaced on my signature space with their crap, was there. I don't have time to play right now so I deleted that pic off my sig line.

postimg.org seems to be pretty good. Appears there is no maximum to storage amounts here. I swapped the pictures I had on photobucket to there for the posts on the this forum. I have been an active member on powerstroke.org (Ford Diesels) for years and have many pictures posted. That one will be a little more work. It is very hard to move around in Photobucket these days full of ads and such. It's B.S. that they are charging, mainly because of all the ads free users have to deal with anyway.
