Well looks like I need a battery. I put in one of those Battery Source batts last year (PTX16_BS). Its dead and charger is telling me it is bad. Im looking at maybe a Yuasa YTX16-BS for about 116.00.

What are you guys finding to be the most bang for the buck? I think I might be overcharging, but I will trouble shoot that when I get a good battery..

I bought a $60 battery from a dealer here.
He had a $100 yuasa but said he thought the less expensive batery was made bt Yuasa. Yup it has Yuasa on the box.

Check Amazon for P/N FTZ16-BS. It's got 370 CCA and 18Ah. About $85.00.

Get one with 20-BD at the end...higher cranking amps.

I have a 'over the counter' gel battery from Advance Auto $100, they had one about $65
that you needed to charge before using. Works for me.

Unless I'm missing something, I see this battery for half as much on line.

Yeah it was cheaper. That was the first page I found with the the battery. Ended up paying about 85 free shipping.. Its on the way
