Who's Parked / Who's Riding
Sad day yesterday, parked the bike for another season. I find it depressing every year when that day comes. Not a lot of riding this year but with my brother in law retired and moved back home, I have a regular riding partner. Today UPS showed up with my new Saddleman Bike bag. Here in plenty of time for next years rally round Cape Breton.

Mines parked. I am hoping for one more day of riding. I need 16 miles to hit 5,000 for the year.

Snowed here last night, high temp today is 27 F.
You want to take a guess if we are still riding or not

I stored the bike for winter about 3 weeks ago.
Average season for me, about 7,000 miles. |

I am very fortunate to live in Northern California where I can ride all year long. I live at the 2000' elevation so in the winter I head West for lower elevation and in the summer I head East for higher elevation.

We can ride most all days in the winter with enough close on. Just can't get away from 7-10's and 12's at work to do so.

I rode mine up until this Wednesday, then we got a snow storm on Thursday and the temp dropped to 12 -15f. I think its over for me until spring.

Season is done here as of Thursday night. Cold front moved through bringing snow, ice pellets and are you friggin kidding me temperatures. The roads now have a salt dust covering with sand on the corners. I have been very busy all fall so riding time has been limited but the way the fall has been up until now I thought There was still plenty of time for a last ride or two, nope not now.

The last time I rode was about 2 weeks ago.........I never really "store" the bike for the winter. It stays available for those occasional warm days during the winter.

Yeah, plowing snow, shoveling snow and running the snow blower, some perks
