Replacement seat and saddle bags for a ‘01 1500 Classic, carb version
Looking to get a new set of saddlebags for my Classic. Nothing fancy, just something functional and without studs and tassels. I am open to suggestions as to where you have had a good buying experience.
Also, trying to find a different seat. The stock one isn’t very comfortable for me as I am sitting against the small rest with the “tail bone”. I’d like to find something with a pronounced back rest and deep seat. Mustangs Seats doesn’t seem to make anything for the carb version. TIA

Thank you Guzzi, that should work very nicely.

I have a set of Ghost Brackets for the Classic. They would make any saddle bags detachable if you want to go that route. Right now they have a set of XL Willie Max bags on them.

The best seat you will find is a Russel Daylong, they make a huge difference in comfort, and are well worth the price.

On my 05' Classic I used Leatherlyke Contemporary bags and trunk. Looked good and worked great.
