+\- 7000 miles
Well, I'm about 2600 miles into this trip. Started in WA state, down thru OR to Reno, down near Bakersfield, over to Albuquerque, now in DFW area. Going back to Albuquerque, CA, Albuquerque again, Colorado, Utah, OR and home to WA. Going to get to ride with my youngest son on the ABQ, CA, ABQ legs.
Would be a lot more fun if it wasn't so HOT! Expected 90's when planning, getting over 100 on most days. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Enjoy, I would love to ride to Cheney/Spokane area before I can't ride! It would be a hard ride for me but doable now!

I'm at about 3400 miles now. Leaving New Mexico for California in the am, be back in New Mexico mid week. Weekend after that going thru Colorado, Utah and Oregon to WA state & HOME!
Actually, ready to be home soon. If I weren't riding with my son I'd cut this trip short. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I'm at just under 5K miles, in Albuquerque at my son's place. Leave tomorrow am heading back to WA state. This last leg is 3 days and just over 1,400 miles. Should make it home Monday afternoon if all goes according to plan.
My thoughts: won't do a ride that involves being on the road this many days or miles again. Of course, this is an old guy talking! For me, 2 or 3 days and no more than 300 miles a day from here on. To all of you, ride safe and keep me in your thoughts/prayers 'til I'm home. Thanks |

Well, the great ride ended today. Got home about 6:30 pm today. Rode 14 hours Sat, and 12.5 hours today. Came to just over 6,800 miles total according to the starting and ending mileage. Was on the trip for 24 days, traveling on 16 of those days. Shortest day ride was 155 miles. Longest ride in one day was 824. (Should have done an Iron Butt on that ride!)
GLAD TO BE HOME! |
