Nice, Solo or 2 up? Have you had or seen any of those Cot tents? I have a small trip this year= VBA June- Wisconsin thing, and thought it would save me a few bucks over hotels.

Always 2up! Wife found some oversize cots that work really nice I use a cheap swimming air mattress under my sleeping bag. zzzzzzzz

You can save as much as a 1/3 on lodging by camping. I try and reserve sites ahead of time if possible summer months it's a must! After labor day we just wing it most of the time.

If the VBA June-Wisconsin thing you are refering to is the National rally in Onalaska. Thats was cancelled 3 weeks ago.

Yes I was referring to the VBA Rally you pointed out, Thank you for the heads up just incase I never found out. Just found out 2 days ago it was canceled. went to the site to see about any events and found it was canceled. Tent was almost ordered. I have the time off, Now what to do.
I was looking forward to meet all of you that went. Nice to put a face to the names. Back home at Dads House is just south of Madison anyway So I will make 2 trips to visit this year most likely. But this one will be from Minneapolis down Wisconsin 35 along the Mississippi. The same route I planned before. only maybe further south before I turn East. Normally I take I- 94 east from Minneapolis to Janesville exit south of Madison ( Boring) then 20 miles east to Delavan (home). Just do not know what I will do just yet. But I will ride somewhere.
