Can't you just cap off the vacuum line and get rid of the butterflies so the hypedupcharger stays open ?

Hi Jay,

Thats aleady been done since I picked up the bike 5 years ago.
I'm getting a few problems with the running of the bike. popping and loss of power under deceleration. The clean air system has been removed long ago and no leaks from the blanking plates. Exhaust has been checked, no leaks. The carb manifold has been check and no splits or cracks. No sign of leaking of the joints from the manifold to heads.

Carb has been stripped, inspected and ultrasonically cleaned and all galleries and airways blown out with compressed air. Its a clean Carb.
2 of the plugs were a bit sooty, 2 were lean.

It just seems a lot of people are having trouble with these hyperchargers.
Just trying to eliminate the possibilities.

It will probably be tough to find what you are looking for. Most people will cut the cross-over tube to get it out when upgrading, rendering it useless. You might try a cycle salvage website. Otherwise, I would look at an air upgrade other than the Hyper that you have. Good luck.
