Ordered some sheets of lexan online to make mine. Made a clear and smoke tinted one. Cost less than $30 for both sheets in 3/16. Contours nicely and holds up well in all temps. No cracks after 2 years. Even had a sparrow bounce off it once. My first attempt was acrylic- lasted about a month. I believe Home Depot and Lowe's now stock lexan in 1/8, 3/16, and 14".

Lexan is a polycarbonate.

Yeah , I watched a bunch of how to videos before I made mine . I used a router to cut it out and a belt sander to clean it up . You couldn't tell it wasn't an O.E.M. piece.
