Howdy from Ohio
I just wanted to officially say howdy, I've been lurking in the shadows for about 6 months now reading your posts , your questions , and your answers , trying to inform myself with all of your experience. Well on 8-6-20 I became the proud owner of a shiny new blue Vaquero . I came from a 07 V Star 1300 . I loved that bike , and never thought I'd find something that stirred me quite like it did. But I wanted a fairing , a radio , something more modern , with some creature comforts , I'm not old "43" but I'm not getting any younger that's for sure . After months of research , hours and hours of videos and reading forums , I stumbled on a huge sale on a valquero , money was right , so I signed on the dotted line . I'm still picking bugs out of my teeth from the hour long ride home from smiling so much. And I felt like I was riding a garage built mini bike before . Since I have added Cobra Tri flos , k&n hi Flo filter ,a Cobra fi2000 fuel mod , a solo seat , the Aux light kit , which came in about 409 pieces but was well worth the trouble. I plan on Ivans , but he's I assume in vacation until Sept 7th per his webpage , so way I see it is I'll get another new bike in September , so to speak, when I get my flashed ECU back .
I'd just like to say thank you to all that post here , your experiences , questions , answers , victories and mistakes , were the deciding factor that ultimately made me choose , what I feel , is the absolute best bike for me. When I was adding all the said mods , it would of taken less time to do it I didn't keep catching myself stopping and just staring at my bike . Thank you all , I look forward to learning from you, and hopefully contributing in the future. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
