Have you considered changing the head unit to an aftermarket that is XM ready and adding module? You will have a much better overall audio experience IMO.

Agreed! I changed 3 months ago to a JBL Marine stereo and wow,,, what a difference. With my Polk Audio 300 watt amp and the MM1 marine 6.5 speakers my radio can be turned up so load it hurts my ears at 80 mph. Clear as it can be. Engineered Adaptors make the stereo and speaker adaptors and they sell the module to make the bar controls work.
