Rear Fender
Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has modified a 1500 fender to go on a 1600? I am getting ready to paint my bike and don't really care for the "pointy" look of the 1600 fender and was hoping to replace it with the 1500 or maybe another fender that would work. Thanks Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I'm going the other way, modding a 1700 rear fender to fit the frame of my 1600 Classic. I already have a steel Yamaha 1100 Star fender on the front of my 1600.

A little backstory on mine: I got tangled up with a guy on one of our rides and essentially destroyed my right side saddle bag. Since the Nomad bags are very expensive and I have never been a fan of the side-load bags, I bought Harley replacements of Ebay for $160 for the pre-painted set and made some minor modifications to allow them to fit. I really love the way they look but now they make the rear fender look really pointy. I was hoping to modify the 1500 fender to fit since the lines match the Harley bags so much better.
