South Dakota & Wyoming Late June
planning stages need to be in Wyoming 23rd 24th day of June for a CMA event. thinking riding from central Oklahoma. 6-hour days just laid-back easy riding. 3 days up final being from Valentine Nebraska past the Badlands into and then 2 days riding out of Custer before cross into Wyoming on the 3rd day. riding out of Gillette for 2days then leaving out Sunday for 3-day slow ride home. Routes Thoughts Opinions! Sites not to miss! Food Ice cream etc. WEATHER Conditions Etc.Etc. P.S. Option is Trailer straight in and back spending more time up there

Spearfish Canyon (14A) is a must see/ride, Make sure to ride it it in both directions. Devils Tower is kinda cool to see. 16A up towards Mt Rushmore then back down 40 is nice.
US 20 between Thermopolis and Shoshoni, Wy (Boyson State Pk) is beautiful ride. If you come out of SD and get on US 16 and work your way across to US20 you won't regret it. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Gill...15!2m1!1b1!3e0

Definitely the batwing over the windshield. It makes the bike handle better in the wind and has better protection against the elements.
The 1700 voyager out performs the 1600 by far. Handling, power, braking, and responsiveness.

Good advice from Troy. When Crystal and I rode up to Custer we went through the sand hills in Nebraska.
Despite what others had said we enjoyed the scenery. If I remember correctly we took NB 2 from Ansley to Alliance.

I agree Dave...sand hills are good ride. I had to go to Alliance, NE since its a "sister" city
to Alliance, OH where I born...then little over 100 miles to Custer. I've been to Custer three times. Doubt I'll ever go back since they are now licensed ATV's on highway. Last year they were everywhere. Maybe they had a rally or meet ....but a friggin' mess. Scott for a dime I'll tell you where hundreds of buffao's are.....guaranteed!!
