crank case breather hose...
I have searched the service manual and can't locate the crankcase vent tube....I have a small oil leak and while searching the forum there is mention of this being kinked and causing gasket leaks ...thanks in advance for any responses...

2018 1700 Voyager appears leak is on rear cylinder back fins...top head gasket maybe.
over a long trip 1000 to 1400 miles it becomes noticeable. 45000 miles oil changes every 5k.... I haven't been able to locate this vent thru manual or observation .Thought it may be a venting issue forcing pressure on gaskets

Just a suggestion as I do not have a 1700 but have you thought of the spark plug tube O ring leaking?

Here's the crankcase breather tube. It's plumbed into the top of the left side airbox.

this passed weekend I got everything exposed to check out leak. No excessive oil on either the filter area or intake side. page 263 of manual shows rear rocker box cover and where the breather check valve tube attaches is where the oil is accumulating but it looks like the rocker box cover may be leaking. Bolts plenty tight and its had to tell where leak is ...very small...thanks for inputs I just wanted to check myself and make sure it wasn't something I did wrong when doing other maintenance. The 2018 has 6 years of warranty so I guess I will check with dealer about an appointment. Hate to do it because I have always done all work on my motorcycles...

I don't know for sure but the engine might have to come out to remove the rocker box cover. Either way if the bike still has a warranty then let the dealer do it but they might give you the run around and tell you its not leaking enough to qualify for a warranty repair.
