A Vulcan-Davidson?
I hope it doesn't start leaking oil or something. It does look good though.

That's cool, closer to NH and the countryside! I mostly stick on Cape in riding season because of those damn bridges, and off season - is you know - winter. Although I must admit I snuck out briefly yesterday morning when it was sunny and near 50 here. That didn't last long, now we're in the teens. In New England you takes what you can get. Maybe we'll run into each other eventually.

So its been a whole year since I posted any updated pics of the Nomad. Heres on at the end of the season last year. This was after I did the harley conversion with the 18 inch front rim. I was also running the 11inch santee bagger apes, reckless fairing, jdt lowers, I have a chopped tour pak as well but I always like the solo look.

Here is what I have done to it this past winter. Theres a few more little things to do but Its supposed to snow for the next few days so I still have time to finish before I can enjoy it! I put on a set of 14inch bagger apes this year, I picked up a black chrome 21inch DNA spoke rim, Im just fabbing up some mounts for my fender to raise it an inch. Should be good to go in the next week!

Hey guys,
Great job on the mod, I've been following for a while. Looking at doing this mod for my VN2000, same axle size. One question for you guys. Has anybody shaved the .125" from the mounts on calipers themselves instead of the caliper mounts on the forks. Figured it would be easier to return to stock by simply adding a shim and original spacers. Thanks |

I actually like the 18" Harley setup better than the spoke wheel. JMO. Bike looks really great. BTW, what is the color combo?

If everything is the same as the 1600, I have another set of the conical wheel spacers. I can mill your forks too if you want to send them too me. Send me a PM if interested.
