I am from NY, but my mind wanders places that have no geography, only metaphysical qualities. I live 14 miles due west of Des Moines.

Hey Tom. Welcome aboard.

I am in Roscoe, IL; which is only around a 20-30 miles ride from Huntley. There is another member in this area as well.

There are some members within the Chicago region. Illinois is one of the stronger states we have on KawaNOW; and we are growing.

You'll have to join-in on a couple rides this coming season. I plan on posting several different rides as they come up.

We are going to try to see if we could have some sort of an unofficial mini-rally of members in our immediate region sometime this summer. I'll post that also to see if anyone can or wants to join-in.

I have seen numerous owners in South Dakota but so far I think only myself and Kioti, hillsrider have actually chimed in. I haven't had a chance to hand out any cards yet but I am planning on passing out a few this year. The Nomad has been a very popular model here according to the dealer. I should talk to them and see if they would put a stack of cards on the desk.

It will soon. So far... it looks like the riding season will be able to start sooner this year than it did last year. (Hope I didn't jinx it by saying that!)

We'll put together a few great rides this year that anyone participating will be glad they joined-in... I promise.

I didn't want to post anything about rain since I previously "jinxed" myself on snow.

We fortunately have not had a lot of rain yet in Northern Illinois. I suppose it is coming. Last year we had so much rain you couldn't start riding till almost June. I would hope this May would be better.

We'll see.
