Have been a Paramedic for over 26 years, the last 4 have been on the dark side (Chief of operations/management) and just for fun a part time firefighter for almost 30 years.... It ain't over yet, another 5-10 to go!

Lots of IT guys on here...

I'm a jack of all trades, but a master of none ;)

I'm a designer/drafter for an Oil & Gas company. Thought I'd be the only one, but caddman knows what I do. :) We design support systems (liquid or gas) for mechanical seals that are used all over the world and for every application you could think of... refineries, autos, planes, food processing plants, oil rigs, etc., etc. All of our designing is in 3D using SolidEdge program. We still use a little bit of AutoCAD, but not much.

Retired and love it .... but before that I spent 31 years with AT&T and other company's within the "Bell System" . My last assignment was with Lucent Technologies as an engineering manager for the ""3 letter agencies" in DC. Burnt out is what the end brought and I haven't looked back.

Being (probably) one of the younger guys on the board, my list wont be as long or impressive as some but...

started out after high school bucking alfalfa hay for a feed store, then got moved to their wholesale side driving a bobtail truck. Then became an extruder operator for a large PVC pipe manufacturer during that five year span I also did clean out work for someone who flipped houses, polished stainless steel and aluminum parts for an aftermarket car part mfg and...sold Rainbow vacuums.

Moved to AR and started work as a CNC lathe/mill operator for a steel fab company. I've been in the QA department for the same company for the past three years.

After 34 years and 5 months I'm credited with 35 years. I'll be retired on 2/8/2011 from a community college most recently as crew leader of 13 for 10 years. Now I only work my part time job as a school bus driver until I decide what I want to do, if anything
