Installed a set of Aeromach 4" risers with the old style Reckless fairing works great clears radio they are 2" talller and 11/2 back from stock.

The VBA discount doesn't work with the special, you either do the VBA discount or take the special.Not aloud to combine the two,well they wouldn't for me anyways.

Can anyone with a Reckless fairing give any feedback compared to the stock windshield?
Better wind protection? Less? Is the radio hearable (is that a word) at highway speeds?

Not sure about the stock winshield. That depends on how tall you are. Mine has the 6x9's and I can hear it fine at 70mph. When I went to the V&H exhaust with ultimate baffles that changed a little.

I have a fastaire recurve windshield on my reckless fairing with it and the larger lowers I get more wind protection from the fairing the shields they send do not do the job' I have 6.5 speakers and as long as I am riding with half helmet all is good full face gets a little muffled

Could you give me more info on the larger lowers? Should I order a reckless fairing with no lowers and install my own or are you talking of their larger lowers?

the larger lowers came from Chuckster http://www.chucksterscustoms.com/Hom...Number=CC-K-LL They mount on the fork in place of your stock ones some people have made their own. there is a member on here that sells a set of lowers that mount on the eng guards http://jtdcycleparts.com/Hard-Lowers...awasaki_c2.htm

MADTIME, I ordered a fairing less the stereo and the cost shipped to my door was $347.50. That was with a 15% discount. I will be putting my own stereo in. Just waiting on the paint shop to finish painting.
