HD would feel the same way. OTOH, Kawasaki doesn't give a crap. I am just not at the HD moment in my life yet. The funny thing is, my bike is nearly paid off and I am starting to like that. The older I get and closer to retirement, the more I hate debt.

I want to be mostly debt free by 62. 8 more years, so if I am going to get anything else car/bike wise, I'll do it in the next few years and then screw it, otherwise I'll just sit where I am for now.

"My tail bone has never been an issue. It still goes back to my knees. Having a position where I can move my legs into several positions is better for me. Having my legs tucked under me puts my legs to sleep and my knees hurt."
Joel...I understand as I have bad knees as well. I have multiple options for my feet as well. I purchased some aftermarket highway blades/pegs for my bike. I only use them for long distance and usually only 10 minutes out of every hour just for a change of pace and maybe a little additional air flow. Just curious, have you ever ridden a sport touring bike for any extended period of time? I had not ridden one for long prior to purchasing my bike. After riding it for a couple hours after purchase it was like I had a v-8 moment. Why didn't I do it a long time ago? So much less tailbone pressure, better visibility, power, handling feeling of control. Riding 500 miles on the ST feels like 250 on the Nomad. Some of it might just be because I get where I'm going much faster. I have now ridden the ST for approximately 17,000 miles...... long enough to make a qualified statement but each of our bodies are different and cruisers may fit others better but as a general rule I think sport touring bikes fit taller riders better so it is surprising that you prefer the cruiser position.

One thing I do and I don't know if you can do it, is I let a leg drop down and hang between the peg and fairing. Not both at once, but one at a time, if my knees get a little stiff. The RT is tall enough that my foot doesn't hit the road. If I had a Russell seat, I think 750 mile days would be doable without fuss. As it is, I can do better than with the Nomad, but I still get some pressure point issues. A proper seat would help no matter what.
