It does, sent mine from Australia in 18 months ago. Impressed with the quick turnaround, was only without bike for 3 weeks ( apart from the crappy exchange rate). Contacted Ivan by pm on this forum

Are the ECU's tied to a bike, or can I get a 2nd hand one and send that in - to save downtime ;) ..

You will have a tough time finding one with the same part number second hand and a new one will be very expensive.

Send your ECU to Ivan in the winter.

Did you contact the place in the U.K I sent you ? Are they still in business ?

I ride all year round, but I guess a little downtime is Ok.

I must admit, I haven't - I assumed that with the chappie passing away, that avenue would be closed ... I didn't check - my bad

I'm in NZ, & have sent my ECU to Ivan 3 times now for upgrades, so yes, it does - but check with Ivan first. He'll need the part number off it to confirm properly.

Ivan usually has the ECU on its way back to you same day he receives it.

Check with Ivan, maybe someone took over from his business associate in the U.K.

bobtheimp = what year is your vaquero /voyager? I know someone that has a spare that is already ivanized. Last I heard he was not using it. This was for a 2012 ? I think. He may sell it? I can ask if you think you would like to go that route.

The 1700s have 3 different ECU part #. Don't hold me to it but If I remember they span from 2009-2011, 2012-2015 , 2015- ….. Now this is my best remembrance ( Guess?) We put it in a post somewhere here, just can not find it now. It was late 2016 - September 2017, some where in that time frame. My post of sending mine in was on page 6 in this tread. I found out before this that there were 3 part #.

Check your # when looking for a spare ECU. I bought the wrong used one but was lucky to find some one that needed it and broke even on the deal. Just lucky, and I made a new friend so that was the good part.

Has anyone noticed a decrease in gas mileage with the lastest ECU Flash upgrade [FV059C4B] from Ivan? The original and the 1st upgrade [FV059C2] I was getting better mileage 40 to 45 MPG, with the last upgrade I'm back down to 35-36 MPG. Bike runs great just the loss of MPG.

I had not noticed that, we too have gone through all three flashes. Have noticed I had gotten more aggressive with the throttle; take offs, passing, etc. as time has gone by. Also, know that in this area there is SUMMER blend for fuels and a WINTER blend. The Summer blend yields better MPG's (for us) than the Winter blend.

Wish I had kept better MPG records...

Ride safe,
Smokier

I can't speak for the earlier versions of the flash as I only have experienced the latest. However, I normally average 43-44 mpg.

I'm in the 34-36 miles mpg from day one. Reflashed in March 2018.
