Rally in the Redwoods

I don't know if I ever made it officially known, but I WILL be going to the rally. Can't wait! See you all there!!!

jared........will be passing thru salt lake on I-80 with waterman on saturday
the 20th if you don't allready have a ride plan and want to hook up for the
run to crescent city.

joel was planning on elko,nv. on saturday night then klamath falls,or. sunday.short ride into crescent city on monday.

Actually thinking of hitting it hard on Saturday and trying to make Winnemucca. That way we have 2 nice short days to make it into Crescent City. From Rawlins to Winnemucca is a little over 600 miles on the interstate which is really the only way there.

There is another way. You can go northwest from Rawlins and go through Idaho into Oregon and across to California. It really doesn't add many miles.

It doesn't add miles but it does add time. That is my proposed route home. Also, the reason for time is that I need to be in Crescent City by noon on Monday to get things set up and ready.

Trosco didn't want to take the interstate route, so I came up with that. He wants to make Rawlins in one day from Des Moines on that Friday and the following days will be shorter rides.

It is and 80 ends up too far south anyway. We were thinking of splitting off from 80 at Rawlins and go up to Jackson area and over into Idaho.
