Just in case you're wondering, we have been making plans for the rally.
We'll have some information to pass along and be taking a poll on the finale dinner plans in the near future.

This sounds like a great event. My wife and I have been wanting to get away for a bit but just haven't been able to swing it. That being said...my son is heading off to Navy basic next Monday and graduates in July. We are saving up our vacation to be there for graduation ceremony. Hopefully I can loose 20 more pounds to fit back into my Dress Uniform to salute him when he's done.

If anyone has a hankerin to head out to Big Bend in May...I am considering a 4 day ride maybe on Memorial Day.

As bad as I hate it, I'm not going to make it.
Gotta send the boy to school this Fall so I can eventually get him out of the house, and off my nerves, which will in turn result in income like a second job.

That day will be like a week at Sturgis, Myrtle Beach, and Daytona Beech combined!

Thanks y'all! We like to think someday it's going to be you and your wife retired without a care disappearing into the sunset on your bike, then you have kids, then they go to college, then they get married, then they need help getting a house, then you have grandbabies.

I reckon I got my sights set on retiring when I'm 95.

I'm kidding! My kids were still in Jr High when I joined the forum and I watched y'all go through the advanced stages of raising your families and seen the beaming pride on your faces. There's plenty of time for balance of family stuff and rallies.

Durn! You walk down the red carpet of life and as you approach the part where you have a little more money than time, then life snatches the rug out from under you and boots you ass to the curve.

I guess I could do like Wanderer, and put 'em all on bikes and tell 'em, "Y'all foller me to the West Coast!" "Alright, tomorrow it's Portland to the other Portland!"

Yeah Pete, you can bet your ass I'll be at Antlers. Done got the room and everything, Nightmare's juggling a lot chainsaws and putting on another Rally.
This year I'm not going to drink whiskey, then tequila, then rum, then beer, then bourbon,, and then do it again.

Unless I have an electric wheelchair with one of them tubes you blow through to make it go.

You won't need all that - just a manual chair, or maybe just a two wheel dolly. I can push to your room and then dump you out onto the edge of the bed. I like you, but I won't tuck you in or anything and I sure as hell aint undressing you. :)
