Sounds good the interest is high so I will continue on planning this one. We are a long way off but somewhere between April and May looks good. It will be great to have you all on this adventure, I will keep updating here as I come up with ideas for this, if anyone has any suggestions lets hear them for some of us this will be a once in a lifetime trip, so lets make it one to remember!

But April...are you crazy? Just kidding, but any time near spring break is a madhouse. I lived in south FL for 30 years, and that is the wrong time of year. It is crowded and all the prices go up for tourist season.

The better (off season) months are; Jan, Feb, June, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov.

But different parts of the state will not be the same. Daytona in Feb is season.

A great place on the west coast is Cedar Key, take a look.

I know it's early Vic but would you plan on coming down I-49 to I-10 in Lafayette and continue East on I-10 or I-20 out of Shreveport to I-55 or I-59 South to I-10?

We will look at the route as people commit so we can swing as close as possible to pick up the riders, but either of those works for me, you live way down south in the swamp dont you?

Yeah Vic, I live about 30 miles due South of I-10 as it passes through Gramercy, LA. Gramercy is located between Baton Rouge and New Orleans about 30 miles West of the Big Easy. No matter which way you come down it's an easy meet for me anywhere along I-10.
