Made it home, 5730 miles 13 states (10 new ones). Bike hit 40,000 miles. Seen a lot of nice country, and rode a lot of awesome roads. Got to ride with some old friends and a few new ones.
Used 6 qts of oil, horn quite, low beam went out on head light, one of the exhaust tips fell off(did recover it and put it back on). and 1/2 day after I left Custer the fuel pump started to whine. Other than that had a great time.
Thanks to all that help plan this and those that came and participated.

Sorry a little late to the party, but made it back sharing the road with Mike and Gail. It was awesome seeing everyone and meeting some new-to-me "family" members! Thanks to all who had a part in this rally!

Made it home tonite, in spite of more stop than go from Nashville to Chattanooga. It wasn't even rush hour, sheesh! Out ran a really nasty storm coming from Illinois, but had sunshine most of the way after that. A little light rain for the last 40 or so miles just cooled things off more than anything else.

I think Phillip was the last of our group returning home. I’m so glad everybody made it home safe.

Hey Everybody!!!!!!!!!!

I beg a thousand pardons for not posting earlier, but Dick and I had a last minute idea to see Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado from top to nearly bottom, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Every state we rode through I kept thinking I wish I had a house here. Gosh, what a breath taking beautiful country we live in, and the friendliest salt of the earth people you have the pleasure of meeting out there.

I promise myself I'll get a helmet cam so I can share places I've been and people I meet.

I enjoyed the rally and meeting everybody again. Of course the rain through a wrench into the works, but hey, if it doesn't rain some time we'd have sickly animals, barren, blown away mounds of dust, and not to mention, dry creeks and rivers.

I am sincerely thankful to everybody with the talents that put a rally like this together. I say talent, because this is one area that I lack any idea at all of how to begin the process, let alone contribute. I also appreciate everybody that came because that's the best part of a great rally!

Glad to see everyone is home safe and sound. a BIG THANKS to Framer, Trip and company that put this together.

Mike(Kawhead) I would agree with you on the beauty of this part of the country. Seem like everytime you think it can't get any better, you go around the bend and WOW.

It certainly is a beautiful country. Most places have a beauty all their own.

We finally made it home mid-afternoon yesterday....after 4300 miles.
It was really nice to ride couple days in t-shirts after many days with jackets and rain gear.

As Kawhead posted, we spend few days in the Rockies, the length of Kansas, quite a bit in southern Missouri. Rode from Gunnison, Colorado to Nashville, TN on backroads....no interstate!

Was great to see old friends and make new ones. Thanks to all for putting the Rally together.

Learned a few things on this trip:
* When you ride with Mike (Kawhead) tote a couple extra quarts of oil. (I'll let Mike explain)
* Every time you stop and put foot down assume there is pea gravel.
* Putting rain gear on anticipating rain is best way to prevent rain.
And last but maybe most important, if your not use to wearing face shield, RAISE BEFORE YOU SPIT!

I'll put it this way, the 1600 only needs gas and maybe a squirt of oil to run 90 mph and get about 35 mpg. the top of the engine seems to raise hell and only runs rough when you slow down to get gas.

You forgot lock your trailer top at night so a Kansas thunderstorm with 60 mph wind won't tear the damn top off and rain the bottom full!!! You'll have to ride home looking like a Hillbilly with it taped together.

Dam, forgot to say I got home, lol.

About 4600 miles all told. Made it from Custer to Cleveland, TN in 2 long days with Amy. Then home the next day to Florida.

It was so good seeing so many of my friends that I don't get to see quit often enough. It was also the longest trip I have taken since the accident...now where to next.

Again, thank you to all that helped organize the rally and to everyone in attendance.
