Welcome to the forum 520eek. Sounds like you are looking at a Nomad and the owner tried to add his personal touches. If you had a picture of the bike, we could tell you a whole lot more about it.

I decided to pass on this one. For a few hundred more I find myself looking at way cleaner bikes , some newer and around the 20K - 30K mileage.

The pics make this bike look pretty good. What is not noted on the ad is it has been knocked over and has some scuff-age due to that incident ( that's what owner told me..)

I think that's an FI bike and it has been painted.
