You stated you are looked for a 2000-2007 1500. The 1600's came out in 05, I don't think a 1600 would cost any more than a 1500 with the same mileage and of the same year. The only thing I would caution you to stay away from is the 1999 Nomad. It came from the factory with a plastic oil pump gear and they eventually fail.

Where at in central Florida and more importantly when?
I may know where there is a nice low mileage 1500 Classic with bags and windshield for sale extremely inexpensively by an older rider who can no longer ride. I'm in southeast Florida and have been known to buy and sell a bike or two. Let me know if I can help. MT
