My apologies if I offended any of the devout over this thread however this thread was meant to be a lighthearted look at a statutory holiday of Western civilization. Doesn't offend me, but your belief is an opinion about a story that was an extrapolation from the old testament and has been changed over the centuries hundreds of times in order to grow the ranks of believers. My opinion is that Jesus was a man that that gathered a following through his charity, forgiveness and tolerance. If you believe in these things that is the resurrection that lives within you. I personally don't believe in the cave theory however everyone is welcome to their own way of looking at it. Whether you like it or not, particularly in North America the holiday does include bunnies & eggs. My kids grew up knowing about Jesus but also looking for chocolate and I do like bunnies.[/QUOTE]

Mate. How many other dumb bastard's have charged forward into war believing in that religious crap, and thinking that they were defending the Easter bunny and all the other bullshit that they are fed on !

Perhaps a few of you misunderstood our dear friend .
A misunderstood man with itty bitty heart full of nothing but love,
and a different way of expressing it.
Please, in the interest of peace and clarity, if I may allow me to interpret.

"Downhill" is good. Would you rather push your bike up or downhill? Would you rather ski up or downhill? If you had to walk to school every morning in the snow, would you rather walk up or downhill? If you were to find yourself atop a hill when nature calls, would you rather piss or release that which once provided nourishment to your body up or downhill? If you wanted to get shed of your wife would you rather push her up or down hill?

I'm just saying.

If y'all will excuse me, I got try to get Mick's wicked ass heathen soul off that bullet train to damnation hellfire.
Where's the Church of England when you need 'em?
They changed minds so much easier.

I am not disagreeing at all. Just saying, whatever works or whatever gets you(the collective or plural you) through the night. There's irony in many human inventions and deistic religion is but only one. Walk over to the political roundtable and enjoy more irony.

The lack of humbleness in this topic is astonishing. You talk about Christ as if it's a bed time story. Stick to motorcycle topics as your ignorance in scripture is almost as bad as you knowledge on how a motorcycle works. Just Sayin.. Happy Easter to all.
