can a dummy install a lightbar

i always run a relay as well, but differ in I take power from the batter to it and a switch, so I can run the lamps anytime, even engine off key in my pocket.

In my state there is no law on having passing lamps on with hi beam also on , so i can run my passing lamps any time I like.

Some states have passing lamp laws where they can not be on when the high beam is on. In that case wiring the relay to the low beam would maybe be best, unless you wanted like I do light with no engine.

The reason i do this is because I go camping on the ground like a dog sometimes and i can use the light to set up in the dark engine off.

I have another bike that I can shut off the main lamp in either hi or low beam and just run passing lamps if I want. I want that in thick fog, but haven't set up the Nomad that way, and may not.
