You might find it helpful. The motel I mentioned in the thread is not The Lodge.
You could leave downtown the way I said and turn left on 62 to get to the motel.
Or just before you get to 62 (Van Buren) turn left on Judah, it's a one way street.
It will take you to 62 where you're not on a hill, then turn left.

There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about that, Jesse. Little did I know back in 2007 that the VBA would gather so many people that I cherish. I'm glad all of us are a unit. I've been blessed to meet and associate with some fine people in the VBA.

Got the room reserved. I am hoping to make it and if I do My buddy Jim will be coming along as well. Kim did tell me all the 14 rooms that were blocked have been taken from my understanding. I think she said they only have 20 rooms in total at the Lodge. Might need to find an overflow motel Framer

She said the Apple Blossom next door could be used as an over flow. I really didn't expect to fill the lodge.

After Amin posted this, I looked thru a couple of the booking sites. All the surrounding hotels were all down to 1-2 rooms left. Not sure how accurate that is, but it could be a busy area that week.

One thing is about half of all motels shut down 3 months for winter. When there down I don't know if booking is possible.

Not the VBA, this is the year we have a national rally and it's at Lake George NY. Next year we'll have regional rallies. The VRA is having there rally at Maggie Valley this year. I decided to have what I thought was a small regional rally in Arkansas for the people that couldn't make Lake George

I've been out of town all week without any internet. But as of the 30 of January there were 2 rooms left at the Lodge motel.

Looking like a room is going to be available at the base motel. I am going to cancel my reservation soon if someone is interested in the room. It is upstairs facing the pool area. I am going to go and see my dad so I wont have any time off available when I get back.
