I'm Official!!

Thanks everybody. I sure wish the weather would cooperate so I could go for a ride, it's raining here today.

I've been riding a long time but this is my first cruiser and by far, the biggest motorcycle I've ever had, and it's also my first experience with running boards. One of my biggest surprises when I first looked at the 1700 Nomads was how well they fit me. I'm kind of short (5'8") and usually have a problem with seat height and/or bar reach, but this fit like it was made for me which makes me think it might feel cramped for you big guys. I'll keep you posted as I begin to get some miles on it and let you know how it's going. One big surprise on the way home was how loud the stock pipes are, I'm used to a quiet BMW.

Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Kovo

Wise choice. Enjoy the ride and this site. You will figure out the unsavory types pretty quick if you pay attention.

hint; watch out for guys with spiked helmets or freshly pressed shirts.

I, for one, was not going to have anything to do with you until you made a tangible commitment.

Welcome, hope you enjoy the bike. I sure have.

don't worry Kovo.... bob can be such a dick sometimes!!!

Ever since he and Todd broke up he's really into the "committment" dialogue.
