Ordered reckless fairing

The shop called and found a couple of pin holes where the fiberglass pulled the paint in. The owner stripped the fairing and repainted it. I'll get to pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

i did the fairing last year, it is an Invicta fairing I bought from a friend who sold his Nomad. This year I added the H-D Ultra trunk and had everything painted to match the factory two-tone paint and stripes. Now I have the saddlebag top racks to put on as well as a fuel processor and a new battery. It never ends, but I really do like the look with the fairing, hard lowers and HD trunk.

Ordered reckless fairing

I had my Reckless fairing since last year.. My painter was impressed with the lack of prep work he had to do.. ALex IMO is real easy to work with,, You will love the fairing, The added protection is great,, Takes a ride or 2 to get used to it(IE: you cannt see the front wheel like with the windshield) but you adapt real fast :) A pic of my 2 tone.Im glad I spent the extra on 2 tone. The solids colors are also real nice. Pics a must when done. That is Kaw Law :)

I went 2 tone outer shell and solid one the inside with the trim pieces around radio and speaker grills painted titanium. Pictures when I am finished installing. It's going to rain here today so I probably won't get a chance to ride

Ordered reckless fairing

Got my Reckless fairing delivered today and was really impressed with the quality. After shopping for 6.5 speakers I settled with the Polk Audio marine. the cutout hole needs to be 5 inches and the fairing came with 4 3/4 holes. I wonder why reckless cuts such small holes for the 6.5 speakers since it wont fit any that I looked at. Now I will have to recut the holes and hope I dont crack the fiberglass. Any suggestions on a Sabre saw blade that will not cause any damage?

I opened my holes up with a dremal tool just ground a little off all the way around. Looks like you only need to take 1/8" off all the way around.
