Splitting the case

Since you asked what else it may need while your in there, you will probably be due for a clutch spring very soon and its also a good time to take a good look at the cam chains since youll have them out anyways, and most likely almost ready for the extenders at that mileage. Since its apart it would be better to replace the chains.

He already did the extenders and the spring. It will likelly be a winter project for him.
