Warmer air?

I'm hoping to get out Sun. or Mon. now that I have a key again
If you guys do get for an early season ride together I would be interested in tagging along.
Good luck to everyone kicking the cobwebs out!

Warmer air?

Temps in the high 60's low 70's for the first time since last season.

So... I told my partner the suit is NOT going to be worn starting Wednesday and for the rest of this week and I am riding to work everyday.

He looked at me over his glasses with that sort-of "grimaced-look"; whereby I immediately told him if ANYONE around the office (or with the firm) has a problem with it... well then... they can take it up with me IN PERSON!!!

He didn't say a thing... ;)

That's funny. I used to see Malcolm Forbes ride in Manhattan on HD wearing pinstripe suits. What a sight.

As it is, I can only ride to work once a week or when my wife takes one of our kids to preschool. I rode yesterday and found the Nomad much quicker than it used be. It was nice to kick it up.

I'll bet that was quite a sight to see. LOL!

They say Malcom Forbes single-handedly jump-started HD's sales after the AMF era (when they were re-purchased by Davidson and some other AMF execs) by going public with his passion for riding.

I can remember seeing a picture of Elizabeth Taylor and Malcom on his HD all dressed in leather. Back then... the public was in shock that Malcom and Liz would stoop as low as to wear leather and ride a motorcycle. LOL!!!

My oh my... have times really changed. ;)

Warmer air?

This week is awesome! Normally I am in the same boat as ponch, can't ride unless wife takes the kids. I usually have daycare duty but this week she took them for 3 days straight. I am loving riding to work in 70 degree weather again. Chance of some light rain this weekend which if fine, good for the lawn I guess.

Warmer air?

Speaking of rain..... I rode in hard driving rain this evening on my way home. Not much fun, and realized that I will put a full face shield in my bags just in case I have to do that again!!
