I wonder who's riding the furthest, Trosco or Caindriver?

I heard there's $500 to the rider that travels the furthest.

But on the way home I will make a side trip to visit a friend in Lafayette CO. Probably be Sunday when Ponch and I split so I can do that.
I am hoping to be on my way home from Wyoming on Sunday. It's going to be quite a trip.

Jared

I followed your link but it did not show much detail. I noticed your Pendleton to Portland day is low in miles so you must have something planned for that day. Just a tip. If you are taking i-84 into Portland try to do it very early to avoid the traditional afternoon winds in the Columbia Gorge.

Ride safe.

Are plan for that day is to leave Pendleton and to ride out to Mt. St. Helens and then to continue on toward our Hotel in Tigard.

It is a great ride from the east or the west...I have done them both.

I assume you will come in off 14 at Carson and head up Wind River road to NF 25 then to NF 99? Great ride. Take the time to climb the stairs when you get there (Mt St Helens). Me, Kris and Charlie (Ballast) did it and it doesn't take as long as it looks.

Hwy 25 is our own private Tail of the Dragon....shouldn't be much traffic on Monday but if there are some sport bikes they will be hauling.

When you leave the shortest and most scenic route to Portland is back down 25 a few miles then head west on 503 to I-5 (avoid Portland rush hour if possible). There are a couple small eateries in Cougar. Have fun.
