I dought I ever own a HD. Just not for me. Everyone I ride with that owns a Harley always wants to ride to a dealer. They are either paying for overly expensive repairs or buying the overpriced merchandise. I had just soon be riding, adding up the miles. But hay, It dont care what you ride as long as you ride

Chuck A We must ride with the same group, they can't pass a HD dealer for some reason. Must be the free popcorn.

All my buddies ride Harleys and the keep trying to get me to buy one. Every one that I have ever rode just doesn't fit me as good as my Vaquero does. Harley Davidson doesn't make a bad bike for a t-shirt company they just are not for me! Plus I don't want to buy a whole new wardrobe just to fit in lol.

What a pain trying to get two bikes home from Daytona.

The MeanStreak sold last weekend.

The difference is night and day.

Drinking the Kool-Aid ended up not being so bad.

now you're making doubt all the kind words you had for Shinko tires...... it was all subterfuge.

Beautiful bikes those Roadmasters... Beautiful.

I looked at a Venture Transcontinental yesterday. Nice in a different way. The MRS could flat foot it, which she cannot do on the lowered Vaq. Hefty $$ tag though...
Ride safe,
Smokier

I love Harley Davidson, Rode their bikes all my life, made a good living being a dealer mechanic.
But, Harley WAS what you wanted if you wanted durability. You could practically stop at any parts store, and fix your bike.
Not any more....Parts are way expensive, ans shop mechanic rates are way up there....
Anymore, your paying for that name.
Still make good bikes, just way too expensive for me....
Congrats on that new ride....its a amazing machine!

I believe you're going to like the Police. Most I've seen are white so it's nice to find one with a nice paint job. I've been looking at them for years, trying to find a good one. Most I see are pretty well used.

While riding Route 66 on my 87 Electra Glide from Wisconsin to California, we stopped at Harley dealership in Lebanon, MO. They had a brand new white Road King Police for $14,100. It had about 600 miles on it so was broken it. I came close to trading my old EG in right there and regret not having done so.

Congrats on yours and I'll just keep looking.
