Wow, Good/Bad, Backrest Ya, Backrest Ney. Looks like this will be an interesting Journey, While I play some Journey on the stereo. Never had a drivers back rest and My model does not have the slot cut so maybe it is best I never know. And off I go. "Oh, she said

I have 60K on my Mustang with a DIY drivers backrest. I slit the seat and bolted the backrest to the steel bracket on the btm of the seat. Most comfortable bike/seat combo I've ever had.
