Set it just tight enough that it holds the throttle but loose enough thst you can manually adjust the throttle position without disengaging it... should be fine... be sure to get the one for 1" bars.... I ordered the one for 7/8" bars like an idiot and couldn't use it.... before any real long trips I will definately need to get one for the Nomad.... untill then the throttle is so light on this bike that the Throttle rocker is fine for me...
El Nico (I think I smited myself somewhere in there....) |

....I use a throttle rocker as well and it sure helps. It will be nice to be able to let go for a few minutes. Thanks for the advice. :)

I installed a brakeaway a few months ago and LOVE it!! Looks like it belongs on the bike, works with the front brake too.

It's always fun to put the cruise on and pass by people. If they know anything about bikes, you know they are wondering how you are able to keep moving.

I've had a BrakeAway installed for the past two years. Even tho it's pricey, I like having it and using it.

I just put Vista Cruise on mine. I have the Krury grips so it is a #$%^ to put on if you use the rubber spacer. I ended up ditching it and just cranking the screws down into the Kury grips. It works great.
BTW, I made Junior Member today! Woo hoo. |

He started it!
What I meant was people who know very little about motorcycles, but enough to wonder how you are riding without using the throttle. Geeeezzz....lol
