Very cool finding old treasures like this

I would actually prefer having "the Crate" with all the writing and logos....would make for a nice decor piece to hang on shop wall or even in basement BAR/Playroom... would probably be as much a conversation piece as the bike and at a cheaper price

I had a 71 Norton Commando, would not want another one as a daily rider. Too much maintenance.

A freind once had a Commando and let me try it, back then they were one of the fastest machine around. Compared to my 250 Yamaha at the time it was a bullet. I stalled it, and was too skinny too kick it over. I guy seen my dilema and helped me start it again. Years later I got to ride one again, I was riding a Suzuki GS1100 then and after trying the Norton I couldn't imagine how slow it felt. This was over a span of about 12 years. How technology has changed.
