It's a counting measure Chris. In terms of volumes, we count with Roman numerals when it comes to issues of the newsletter.

A volume is usually within a year. So, in Feb of 2013, we'll go to Volume II.

It is fine to use Roman numerals, but many, actually I'd say most journals use Arabic numerals for both the volume and issue numbers, so it is not required as a matter of following proper style. Your call as Editor.

But nice job! Clearly your featuring BD shows you were more focused on format than content this time, which is understandable, but now that the format is settled that will likely change. Looking forward to future issues.
