Everything he said is true except the part I made in bold print.

I hope so too. I'm going to 2 VBA rallies for sure and 90% for 2 more. I'm hoping to make it a great year of riding.

I'm gonna sweeten my 401k for a couple more years, then I'm out there.

Right now it looks like the week of 15-21st is leading poll. I can make that work. Will probably be in my rain gear a bit between this one and the NC/SC in Ark the following week. But maybe I will shrink!!! Thats a comforting thought!

ManBan: saw you signed for Ark and Orifino. Way cool dude I am in for them. Have a visit with daughter in Iowa and a GoldWing rally in Wisconsin between Ark and Idaho but mayhap we be able to do some of the ride from WV to Ark together.

I went in to work this morning, and the other guy in my department (there's only two of us) had already put in for vacation for June 15-21 to go on a cruise . They won't let both of us off at the same time, and vacation is first come, first serve, so I'm hoping that the rally will be one of the other choices. I sure was looking forward to attending.

Well that sucks
Talk to the other guy and see if he can rearrange his schedule.
If he says he can't, offer him money, we will take up a collection

I don't think there is any amount that would get him to rearrange, not only is it him and his wife, but his in-laws, brother-in-law with wife, and sister-in-law with husband. I personally wouldn't want to be with all the IN-LAWS!

You got that right. They ain't no boat been built big enough to get me on one with ne'er one of my enlaws!
But, you're right Cat. The first thing I'd do is find Cliff and tell him what's going on and ask if he will pleas swap vacation weeks. Then, I'd go back home and say,"Geeeezzz, honey. Dad gummit! They's this guy at work who's a real suck up, and he got the boss to let him have that week that I wanted to go on the cruise so he could go to a bike rally"! Golleeee! We've been looking forward and planning this trip all year only to have our dream crushed like a little baby kitty cat under a trash truck tire! Oh the agony is just to harsh to bear.
"Look honey, you run along on the cruise and enjoy yourself. Time will ease the hurt. Theys some chores around the house that need tending anyways."

If somehow I were coerced into going on a cruise with that many that I hate, at least two of them would end up shark and crab food, and the only image they'd see on the cameras days later is an alleged woman about 5'4' dressed in a burka bashing them in the back of the head with a belaying pin, and them tossing the carcass over board.
Unless they do me first.
Which would still be an alternative blessing.

if it would help everyone I could change my vote to June 8-14 that gives most the chance to make it and still attend other rallys if they chose

I would like it to be on a week when Cliff and Diana could attend but I really wish you guys would make a decision one way or the other.
