Pads are as cheap as a Mc Donalds.Dont buy from Kawasaki. They just buy them in from the same Chinese bloke who sells them on ebay

Na Mick, brakes I don't go cheap with, just by nature that we need them more than the WOOOOWH!!!!! . Any ways, what really made me go what?, was that there is a left and right set. Besides any thing that cost more than a couple $$ will cut my bubble gum time down drastically.
So, punisher, hows your repairs going? |

I have tried just about every aftermarket pad out there. My original pads on the 03 Nomad went somewhere around 24000m miles. No aftermarket pads have lasted 8000 on my bike. Not only that, but they seem to have wrecked the rotors, gouged them up pretty good. I'll pay the price for the factory pads. If you factor in the price by the mile, they don't cost any more. But that is just my opinion.

I like your opinion MAS, I'm really an organic type guy but they are getting harder and harder to find good ones. When I stated that the pads are a bit pricey I should have said that ALL brands and types are more than my EN500 replacements. I'll just pass on my next pack of bubble gum and spend it all......

I have found that if I have a small amount of air in the brake or clutch system, I just pull the lever back and tie it off overnight. Next morning, the lever/pedal is solid. Sometimes, I do this just for preventive maintenance.

I made a comment that with second thoughts was not as funny the 2nd time I read it so I deleted it.
Brake pads made of steak and beer would smell better than organic brake pads made of cabbage leaves. Sorry for the confusion.
