The weather has turned up here.... woke up to some snow this morning, we had a lot of snow earlier in the week, but it didn’t last more than a couple of days.

My season is coming to an end methinks. Already looking forward to the next one.

Yes, Lots of great riding in the Kootenays and NW Montana. Been to Yaak a few times but not at the Shameless Oasis, visited the Tavern across the road from it.

The ride from Yaak through the forest and to the bridge across Lake Koocanusa is just fantastic. I planned to go that route on the way back from the Chewelah ride but time and weather didn't make it possible. Next year!

Hey Steve! We are finally seeing some Spring weather here in Alberta too. Snow is gone but lots of gravel and sand on the roads so one has to be careful on the corners.

I hope to get some riding in this summer in the Kootenays. Maybe we can meet up and you be my personal tour guide to all the nice backroads! Usually just blast through on Highway 3 but I'm sure there are a lot a great places off the beaten path.

I here you mate... been taking ‘er easy for sure, but the highways guys have been out and made a great start.

As to coming over this way... for sure give us a shout... meet and greet would work....we live on an acreage too so if you need somewhere to pitch a tent let us know too.

Day away from the ‘office’...

Put on my travelling boots and nipped over the border into Idaho.

Completed the Moyie River road loop... bit sketchy in places due to gravel and sand in places, but totally worth it, being immersed in the sights sounds and scent of the river, forest and meadows.
